Croptek “fan and pad polyhouse” is basically a climate controlled polyhouse in which temperature and humidity is controlled by a cellulose cooling pad and exhaust fan. This type of Polyhouse has multiple applications, majority being growing off-season crops, exotic veggies, exotic leafy greens and herbs, floriculture, plant breeding, germination and crops especially grown for export markets.
Croptek fan and pad polyhouse is build with hot dip galvanized pipes and covering of 5 layered UV stabilized polythene wherein crops are grown under controlled condition Like temperature, humidity, ventilation, light intensity, photo period which are all artificially controlled throughout the season irrespective of the natural conditions outside.
In conventional farming practices, the crops are being cultivated in the open field under natural conditions where the crops are more susceptible to sudden changes in climate i.e. temperature, humidity, light intensity, photoperiod and other conditions due to which the quality, yield of a particular crop can get affected and may be decreased.
Croptek’s fan and pad polyhouse is available in different sizes and can be customized according to client’s requirements. We also customize designs according to location. Construction sizes range from 100sqm to 10000sqm and onwards.
